District 105 (South West of England) contest and selection
The Lions Club International’s Young Ambassadors Programme was set up to operate throughout Europe to recognise, encourage, and support young people who are actively involved in the welfare of the community, therefore supporting the very best of our Lions’ ideals.
In previous years, candidates have been in helping young and older people, people with disabilities, organised projects in conservation, crime prevention, promoting healthier livings and hospital radios to name but a few.
Nominations can be made by individuals aged between 15 and 18 on the 30th June 2016 who are supported by their organisation be this their school, youth club, military cadet unit or other similar entity.
Nominations need to be supported by a Lions Club. If you don’t know who your nearest club is please complete the nomination form leaving the nominating club section blank and return the form to the district coordinator who will endeavour to have your nomination supported.
You can download an application from HERE.
If you have any questions of need to know where to post your completed application please email Wendy Broom (Coordinator)
We look forward to receiving your application.
