You will have received a letter from the Council Chairman Simon Moss in the November Mail Drop (and which is available on the SW website) concerning the Redistricting of our Multiple District 105.
It will shortly be decided whether 105I (Northern Ireland and Eire) stay with our multiple district or become a single district on their own.
Following the meeting of the SW Redistricting Team there are many issues that need addressing. A suggested counter proposal was put forward at a recent meeting of the Council of Governors and this is being considered.
We have taken the view that the original proposal is not in the best interest of 105SW or the Multiple District as a whole and we will be considering voting against the resolution at the Convention in Eastbourne in May 2016.
A resolution will be put forward at our District Convention to recommend that we oppose the Multiple District redistricting resolution.
Please let me have any questions or comments to allow us to move on.
Yours in Lionism
District Governor 105SW
